Obituary

William Joseph "Bill" Clouser of Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday morning at Miller's Manor in Mooresville, Indiana.  He was 75.

Bill served his country in the Navy, stationed aboard the USS Boston.  He went to work at General Electric and then to R.R. Donnelley, retiring from there in 2017.

Born July 18, 1946 in Lafayette, Indiana, he was the son of Henry Clouser and Elizabeth Bradshaw Clouser.  He graduated from Darlington High School in 1964 and attended Sam's Technical University.

Surviving family includes: nine siblings; Tom Clouser (Judy) of Crawfordsville, Martha Porter (Joe) of Schertz, Texas, Phyllis Foye of Mooresville, Suzanne Vida of Elwood, Indiana, Marjorie Clouser of San Antonio, Texas, Virginia Hayes of Auburn, Kentucky, Kevin Clouser (Nicole) of Boise, Idaho, Karen Critchlow (Morris) of Auburn, Kentucky and Ruth Chambers (Mark) of Naples, Florida; two sisters-in-law, Marilyn Clouser of Brownsburg, Kimberly Clouser of East Hampton, Connecticut; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Cheek, three brothers, Phillip Clouser, Gerry Clouser, Timothy Clouser and four brothers-in-law, Randall Foye, Jerry Cheek, Calvin Hayes and Richard Vida.

A private graveside service for his family will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Darlington.  Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.
