Wesley Jerome Thornton, 42, of Crawfordsville, Indiana, passed into heaven on January 23, 2021. He was a loving man who cared deeply for his family and community. Wesley was an avid fitness fan and ran track in high school. He liked collecting coins, antiques, and marbles and was a fantastic chess player.

Wesley is survived by his ex-wife, Christina Thornton, along with daughter, Mackenzie Randolph, and sons Wesley, Jr., Isaac, and Samuel Thornton, and stepdaughters Brittaney Miller and Amanda Cummins. He also leaves behind his brother, Napoleon Johnson, sisters Kimberly Thornton and Kesha Rouse and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Kelly Thornton. His mother Yvette Johnson unexpectedly passed away a week after him and will be together with him in paradise.

Wesley's family asks that you pray for peace and understanding as they learn to live without him since he meant so much to everyone.

His family will have a visitation for him and his mother on Thursday, Feb. 4 and Pastor and Friend, Josef Lee will lead their service with interment at Youngs Chapel Cemetery.
