Travis J. Bonwell of Darlington passed away Sunday night at home after a short battle with cancer.

Travis loved his cats, Maui and Milo, as well as working on trucks.  He also liked camping and fishing.  He had been employed at Random House and Decks Direct.  He attended school at North Montgomery.

Born Sept. 20, 1998 in Crawfordsville, he was the son of Mark Bonwell and Norma York Bonwell.  He married Kimberly Demoret on Oct. 1, 2019. She survives.

Surviving family includes: wife, Kimberly Bonwell; father and step-mother, Mark and Tobie Bonwell; five brothers, Caleb Bonwell, Ricky Ball, Austin Ball, Alex Dagley, Nathan Wade; four sisters, Ryanne Hurley, Sydnie Ball, Kassidy Bonwell, Peyton Ball; grandfather, Roy Bonwell; grandmother, Christine Odum.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma, grandfather, Roy York and grandmother, Mary Bonwell.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 Sunday, August 1 at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash, Crawfordsville, with a service starting at 5 PM, led by Pastor Bill Cook.
