Theadore "Teddy" Gregg of Colfax passed away Monday night at IU Arnett in Lafayette.  He was 81.

Ted liked to work and was always active.  He did machine maintenance at R. R. Donnelley for over 25 years.  He later worked as a tool and dye maker in Frankfort and Indianapolis.  He also farmed, with a strawberry farm, raspberry farm, and a tree farm where he cut and sold firewood.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He also served as a cook in the Army National Guard.

Born Oct. 19, 1942 in Parke County, Indiana, he was the son of Wayne Gregg and Virginia Gregg.  He graduated from Turkey Run High School.  He married Sally Franklin Gregg.  She preceded him in death on Feb. 24, 2023.

Surviving family includes: three sons, Mark (Misty) Gregg, Darin (Julie) Gregg, Shawn (Lana) Gregg; step-daughter, Dawn (Jeff) Repogv; two step-sons, Shawn Tonya) Hudson and Shane (Amanda) Hudson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a brother, Ronald Lee Gregg and a sister, Margaret Gregg Fisher.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 PM Friday at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash, Crawfordsville.  A memorial service will commence at 5 PM, with Pastor John Fitzgerald officiating.  Burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery will take place at a later date.
