Sharon Perkins of Linden passed away Wednesday morning at Hickory Creek in Crawfordsville.  She was 83.

Mrs. Perkins was a custodian for North Montgomery School Corporation as well as the Linden State Bank.  She attended Crawfordsville High School.

Born May 23, 1939 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Wilbur Decker and Mary Weir Decker.  She married Donald Perkins on December 17, 1955 and they recently celebrated 67 years of marriage.

Surviving family includes: husband, Donald Perkins of Linden; two daughters, Kathy Riggen and Kelly Allen; son, Kevin Perkins; eight grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 2 PM to 4 PM Tuesday, Feb. 21 ^st at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Avenue, Crawfordsville.  Services will begin at 4 PM, led by Pastor Jamie Lyon.  She will be laid to rest at the Freedom Cemetery at a later date.
