Sharon Mae Ferguson
June 5, 1955 - September 18, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Sharon Ferguson announce her passing on Wednesday afternoon at the age of 69.

Sharon married the love of her life, Mitch, in 1973. She graduated from South Montgomery High School in 1974. They welcomed a baby girl, Ressa, in 1974 and a baby boy, Buddy, in 1976. Together they built their home in 1987 where they raised their
family.

For the last 30 year, Sharon, along with her Husband and her family owned and operated Bal-Hinch Country Store. They have made many friends and extended family through the Bal-Hinch community. Sharon enjoyed traveling with their friends, fishing on various bodies of water, playing bingo, and tending to her garden pond. Sharon's favorite season was Christmas where she gathered all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren under one roof.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Mitch Ferguson; daughter, Ressa Conkright (Jason); son, Buddy Ferguson (Catrina); father, James "Jim" Davis; two brothers, Jim Davis (Carol) and Tim Davis (Roxanna); sister, Judy Cunningham (Kevin); seven grandchildren, Kyle Conkright (Lilly), Kody Conkright (Alli), Sadie Williams (Derek), Sam Bridgewater (Daulton), Konner Conkright, Natalie Dugard (Elijah), and Remy Ferguson; along with fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Davis on March 29, 2024. Visitation will be held at Burkhart Funeral Home from 3 PM to 6 PM on Tuesday, September 24th. Services will begin at 6 PM, led by Pastor Tony Thomas. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the New Market Christian Church, P.O. Box 356, New Market, IN 47965.
