Rita Peterson of Rockville passed away Friday at St. Vincent's Hospital on 86 ^th street.  She was 57.

Rita was a homemaker who loved her kids and her grandkids.  She would spoil her grandkids every chance she got.

Born May 1, 1964 in Scottsville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Gilford Carver and JoAnn Lonsberry Carver.  Her family moved to Beech Grove and she would attend Beech Grove High School.  She married Michael Peterson on May 15, 1999.  He survives.

Surviving family includes: husband, Michael Peterson; daughter, Amanda Yates (Caleb); son, Jonathon Acres; son, Joesph Wilson (Brittney); daughter, Amanda Peterson; daughter, Ashley Smith (Matthew); son, Alexander Peterson; brother, Robert Carver; sister, Kathryn Wilson; sister, Leslie Carver; brother, Earl Carver; eleven grandchildren, Azalia, Vincent, Xavier, Mirrabella, Dominic, Mackenzie, Karson, Grace, Mia, Elena and Henry.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 Pm Friday, Nov. 26 ^th at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash, Crawfordsville.  Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, Nov. 27 ^th at 11 AM at the Calvary Cemetery in Crawfordsville.
