Rita Paxton, of Crawfordsville passed away on June 14, 2025. She was 69.

Born in Crawfordsville on February 20, 1956 to Delbert "Deb" and Doris Cedars. Rita worked as a CNA.

Surviving family includes husband, Terry Paxton; daughters, Laura (Robert) Waltman and Doris Paxton; grandson, Tyler and brother, Ray Cedars.

She was preceded in death by both her parents.

Visitation for Rita will be on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 starting at 11 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM at Burkhart Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
