Peggy Lou Greer

June 23, 1944-March 31, 2026

Peggy Lou Greer of Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday at Lane House at the age of 81.

Born June 24, 1944 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of George Eyler and Vivian Cowan Eyler.  She graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1962.  She married Bob Greer on June 26, 1976.  He passed away Sept. 9, 2017.

Peggy was a long-time member of Friendship Baptist Church.  She worked at R. R. Donnelley for 32 years.

Surviving family includes: son, Jeffrey Wayne Fruits of Crawfordsville; two step-daughters, Lori Wilkinson of Greenwood, Robin Ballweg of Foxburgh, Georgia; two sisters, Sharleen Arola of Florida and Joanne Murphy of Middletown, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Greer, four brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 Noon on Tuesday, April 7th at Friendship Baptist Church, 1981 Oak Hill Road.  Services will begin at Noon, led by Pastor Chris Hortin.  After the service, she will be laid to rest beside Bob at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.
