Michael Stabler

July 24, 1946-March 2, 2021

Michael Allen Stabler of Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday morning at Franciscan Health East in Lafayette.  He was 74.

Mike served several years in the U.S. Navy.  After his discharge, he worked as an electrician.  He liked riding motorcycles and working on cars.

Born July 24, 1946 in Indianapolis, he was the son of John P. Stabler and Wilma Stabler.  He went to several schools and before attending Monrovia High School.  He married Deanna Staggs in 2006.  She survives.

Surviving family includes: wife, Deanna Stabler; daughter, Cindy; son, Eric; brother, Tim Stabler; step-son, Mason Lockard; grandson, Mac Lockard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Joe, two brothers, Jerry and Steve.

In accordance with his wishes there will not be a public service.  Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.
