Martha Jane Tillotson Tolliver Tackett, age 88, of Crawfordsville, passed away on December 2 at her daughter's home.

She was born in Danville, Illinois on July 8, 1935, daughter of Jesse Warren Tillotson, Jr. and Mary Jane (Bowles) Tillotson, formerly of Russellville, Indiana. She first married Leonard Burnam Tolliver and later Wilbur Tackett.  Both husbands, her parents and sister, Linda Davies, preceded her in death.

She was a member of both OES #247 and VFW #3284 in Roachdale, Indiana as well as American Legion Post #72 in Crawfordsville, Indiana. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, providing each of us with afghans thru the years.

Martha is survived by daughters, Terri (Stan) Lawson, Chris (John) Irvin, and Jessi (Tony) Ragsdale; grandchildren, Stanette Balser, Sean (Allison) Haskett, Brea Brock, Brett (Jason) Anderson, Scott (Kelly) Ragsdale, Patrick (Taryn) Ragsdale, Shonda Lawson; great grandchildren, Tyler (Karly), Meghan, Darek, Cameron, Keaton, Austin, Carter, Riley, Ella, Zachary, Michayla, Kalishia, Logan, Dylan, Kamryn, Reid, and Luke; great great grandchildren, Sophia, Luke, Mason, Gunner.

A private family service in Oak Hill North Cemetery will be held on Thursday. All arrangements are entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County, 1104 Big Four Arch Road, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
