Mark A. LaFoe of Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday at the Roudebush VA Medical Center.  He was 57.

Mark worked in IT, mostly for Golden Books.  He served his country in the U.S. Navy.  He liked baseball, basketball and bowling.  Mostly, he liked spending time with his grandkids.

Born Oct. 26, 1963 in Crawfordsville, he was the son of Charles E. LaFoe and Carol J. McKinney.  He graduated from Crawfordsville High School.  Mark married Ivy Anderson.  She survives.

Surviving family includes: wife, Ivy LaFoe; three sons, Nathanael LaFoe, Nicholas LaFoe, Nehemiah LaFoe; three daughters, Natasha LaFoe-Fields, Miasha LaFoe, Nikita LaFoe; sister, Sue Miller; brothers, Gary (Judy) LaFoe, Russ (Kim) LaFoe; sisters, Beth (Brian) Ratcliff, Lori McKinney, Belinda Sturm and thirteen grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service, with military rites, will be Friday, Nov. 13 ^th at 6 PM at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash, Crawfordsville.  Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service.
