Lois H. Carroll Thomas, 95, passed away while residing at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville on August 17th, 2024. Lois was born on June 10, 1929 to the late Cecil and Mildred (Griffin) Carroll.  She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Thomas.

She was a 1947 graduate of Waynetown High School.  She worked for Indiana Bell, Atlas Van Lines, and Hallmark.

While Lois hated the miles between her and her family, she loved the bright sun and glistening waters of Florida.  She was a member of the Christ Central Church in Cocoa, Florida.  No matter where she resided, Lois was confident in the love and grace of Jesus.

An avid Willie Nelson fan, Lois knew every song by heart.  She always had a puzzle on the table and greeting cards ready to be sent to family and friends.

Her family was always in her heart. Children: Roy "Butch" Springer (Kathy Pipher) of Wingate, Vicky (Jim) Redmon of Mill Hall, Pennsylvania, and Susie (Mark) Hutchison of Crawfordsville. She will be greatly missed by her sisters: Kae (Gerry) Gallear-Blaydes, Sandyra (Morris) Finch, Dee Dee (Tom) Galloway.  Lois was grandmother to six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.  To those blessed to call her grandma, Lois gave the gift of laughter, love, and memory-making. She leaves behind many family and friends whose lives were richer because of her presence.
