Lavonda Kay Sparby of Crawfordsville passed away Monday night at St. Vincent Hospice.  She was 70.

Born April 19, 1950 in Crawfordsville, she attended Crawfordsville schools.  She worked at Alcoa/ CSI for many years, retiring from there.  She loved her family, and also enjoyed socializing with her friends.

Surviving family includes: daughter, Christy Cary of Florida; son, Scott Sparby of Crawfordsville; sister, Joyce Hultz; two grandsons, Blake Link, Braiden Link; granddaughter, Makayla Sparby; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dan Willoughby.

A private graveside service for family and a few close friends will be held Saturday, March 6th at Oak Hill Cemetery North.  A celebration of life will be announced as details are available.  Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.
