Karmon Demoret Barger

Karmon Demoret Barger of Oxford passed away Tuesday morning at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis having turned 47 on Saturday.

Born Dec. 14, 1977 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Steve Demoret and Pam Walters Zachary.  She graduated from North Montgomery in 1996 and attended Ivy Tech.  She married Justis Barger.  He survives.  Karmon loved to laugh, dance and sing, but most of all she loved her children.

Surviving family includes: husband, Justis Barger; five children, Abby Barger, Case Barger, Zeke Barger, Annie Barger and Rachel Barger; mother, Pam Zachary; sister, Kelsey Case (Brad); step-brothers, Ron Zachary, Jr. (Tisha) and Mark Zachary (Alicia); step-sisters, Chrystina Zachary and Buffie Voorhees (Matt).

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alicia "Allie" Barger, her father, Steve Demoret, step-father, Ron Zachary and grandma, Mary Walters.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM Saturday, Dec. 21st at Burkhart Funeral Home.  Services will begin at 1 PM.  After the service, she will be laid to rest at the Concord Cemetery in Tippecanoe County.
