Karen Elain Birchfield

Karen Elain Birchfield, passed away at Clinton House on April 11, 2026. She was 74.

Born in Crawfordsville, Indiana to Lawrence and Patricia Green Baldwin on October 6, 1951. She was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School and worked 29 years at George Davis Manor House before retirement in 2017. Karen enjoyed listening to country music, doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles, playing the lottery and anything arts, crafts or coloring.

Karen is survived by her mother; sons, Matthew Birchfield and John Birchfield; brothers, Steve and Larry Baldwin; sister, Kathy Baldwin; nephew, Nathan; and niece, Stephanie.

She is preceded in death by her father.

Visitation for Karen will be on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 1 PM to 3 PM with service starting at 3 PM at Burkhart Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
