Judy Carrington of Crawfordsville passed away unexpectedly Sunday afternoon.  She was 58.

Judy loved being a stay-at-home mom to her children and her beloved job was taking care of her grandchildren.  She was a member of the Eagles and the New Market Baptist Church.

Born December 11, 1960 in Crawfordsville to Evelyn Conkright and John Conkright and raised by Evelyn and Ellery "Butch" Conkright.  Judy graduated from Southmont in 1979.  She married Carl Carrington on July 14, 1979 in New Market.  He survives.

Surviving family includes: husband, Carl Carrington; son, Josh Carrington (Jamie) of Crawfordsville; daughter, Nikki Keller (Aaron) of Crawfordsville; mother, Evelyn Conkright; four grandchildren, Gabrielle, Marissa, Jaron, Griffin; four brothers, John Conkright, Gary Conkright, Tim Conkright, Bill Conkright; two sisters, Julie Ratcliff, Susan Whelan; step-mother, Susan Conkright.

She was preceded in death by both Butch Conkright and John Conkright, as well as her father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Priscilla Carrington.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 PM Saturday at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 West Wabash Ave.  Cremation will take place after the visitation, in keeping with her wishes.
