Jacky "Jack" Herman Thompson

October 25, 1934 to February 5, 2026

Jacky "Jack" Herman Thompson passed away at Franciscan Health of Crawfordsville on February 5, 2026, he was 91.

Born October 25, 1934 in Crawfordsville to James Herman Thompson and Catherine Elizabeth Jones Richardson, and step-father Ralph Richardson.

Jack is a graduate of Crawfordsville High School, class of 1953. He served in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1957. On April 9, 1971 Jack married Edwina "Gay" Nelson, she survives. He loved bowling and watching John Wayne movie's and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.

Surviving along with his wife; children, Mark W. Thompson of Attica, Deb (Lee) Groleau of Attica, Yvonne (Bob) Biddle of Marshall, and Ramona Thompson of Crawfordsville; ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father; son, Bradley S. Thompson; a step-sister and one great-great-granddaughter.

***Cremation was chosen for Jack with a graveside service starting at 1 PM, on April 11, 2026, at Oak Hill Cemetery South.
