Heather Crosby

March 2, 1974-April 25, 2026

Heather Crosby of New Ross passed away Saturday morning at home.  She was 52.

Heather loved nature and the outdoors.  She liked mushroom hunting, which she did just a few days before her passing.  She also enjoyed collecting rocks, gardening and the color blue.

Born March 2, 1974 in Warsaw, Indiana, she was the daughter of Victor Pulsipher and Debbie Hicks Kennedy.  She married Darrald D. Crosby on August 8, 2009 in Greencastle.  He passed away June 19, 2020.

Surviving family includes: two sons, Jake Quisenberry of Roachdale and Kenny Quisenberry (Danielle) of North Carolina; daughter, Destiny Backfish; mother, Debbie Kennedy; two brothers, Jake Stidham and Jeremiah Stidham; seven grandchildren; as well as her companion, Scott Denham.

She was preceded in death by her husband, father, and her son, Britt E. Quisenberry.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM Saturday, May 2nd at Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville.  Services will begin at 1 PM.  After the service, she will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
