Geraldine "Jeri" Wilson of Crawfordsville passed away Friday morning at Franciscan Health –Crawfordsville.  She was 77.

Jeri was a member of First Baptist Church and the Berean Sunday School class, both of which she loved.  She liked being involved in her church, and she also enjoyed knitting, where she made many afghan blankets.  She liked to go dancing and fishing.  She worked at various restaurants and factories in Indiana until her health forced her to retire in 1989.

Born Feb. 4, 1944 in Michigan, she was the daughter of Floyd Majeski and Leona Majeski.  Her dad passed away when she was 2 and her mom married Bill Soper, who raised her.  She started dating Robert Wilson in 1980 and they were married on March 4, 1989.

Surviving family includes: husband, Robert "Bob" Wilson; two daughters, Glenda (Ross) Winfrey, Dora (Jeff) Hardacker; son, Shane Wilson; grandchildren, Chelsy Lawrence, Kisha Deck, Candice Thornburg, Mikaley Cegielski; three sisters, Judy Shafer, Pat Brinkman, Dorothy (Ron) Whiteman; brother, Tommy Soper; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Wilson, grandson, Travis Lawrence, and brother, Steve Majeski.

Visitation will be from Noon to 2:30 PM on Wednesday, May 19th at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Avenue.  Services will begin at 2:30, led by Pastor Tommy James.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
