Garry Robertson, aka "Sterile" passed away Saturday morning at home.  He was 71.

Garry enjoyed softball, billiards, poker and fishing, but he loved the Cubs.  He was a member of the Eagles.  He was a journeyman electrician, with Local 481 and worked several years at Barth Electric, but later worked for Terry Hockersmith.

Born Dec. 10, 1948, he was the son of Layne and Alma Robertson.  He was a 1967 graduate of Crawfordsville High School, where he played catcher on the baseball team.  He married the former Ida Klemans and they have been together 42 years.

Surviving family includes: wife, Ida Robertson; brother, Joe (Jenn) Robertson; three sons, Chris (Tammy) Moore, B.J. (Shereese) Moore, Brian (Greta) Moore; niece, Katrina Greely; two nephews, Josh and Kaleb Robertson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Cheryl Greely.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 PM Saturday, Dec. 28 at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Avenue.  Services will begin at 6 PM.  Cremation will take place after the service.
