Gail Paddock of Crawfordsville passed away at home Tuesday following a long illness.  She was 71.

Born Oct. 14, 1947 in Mattoon, Illinois, she was the daughter of Glenn Morris and Marjorie Gossett Morris.  She graduated from Shortridge High School.  She worked as a receptionist in a couple of local dentist's offices.  She was a member of Fremont St. Baptist Church and loved her Bible.

Surviving family includes: husband, Robert "Bob" Paddock; three sons, Rob Paddock (Nancy), Ben Paddock (Kaija), Jim Paddock (Kate); nine grandchildren, Nicole (Matt), Grant, Brittany, Cade, Ashtyn, Mekhi, Isabella, Anthony, Lucca; three sisters, Glenda, Christine and Julia.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Alice and two daughters, Rachel and Sarah.

Visitation will be from 10 AM to Noon on Friday, August 9th at the Fremont St. Baptist Church, 1908 Fremont Street, with services starting at Noon, led by Pastor Dan Aldrich.  Burial will follow at Wolf Creek Cemetery, South of Wallace.  Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.
