Dorothy "Dot" E. Holt

Dorothy "Dot" E. Holt, formerly of Linden, Indiana, passed away peacefully at Glenburn home in Linton, Indiana on September 18, 2024. She was 86.

Born in Linden, Indiana on May 18, 1938 to Harold and Gladys Killian Lyon. Dot retired from the Linden Food Plaza, she was a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion. Dot loved to build Legos.  On November 2, 1957, Dot married Ernest Holt, he preceded her in death on May 15, 2001.

Surviving family includes: son, John Holt (Debra); daughters, Jenny Holt (Larry), Tina Pattengale (Marshall Blanchard), and Lisha Addler; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.

Dot was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Roberta Carter; two grandsons, Joshua Kaine Thomas, and Daniel Richard Davis II; and brother Allen Lyon.

Visitation for Dorothy Holt will be at the Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W Wabash Ave. Crawfordsville, IN on Friday September 27th from 11 AM to 1 PM. Service will follow at 1 PM with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
