Debbie Jo Cope, 52, of Greencastle Indiana, passed away on November 5, 2023, in Greenwood, Indiana. She was born on June 12, 1971, in Greencastle, Indiana.

Debbie, also known as Deborah Jo Cope, was a kind, generous, funny and loving person. She has a warm and caring nature that endeared her to all who knew her. Her presence brought joy and laughter to those around her.

Debbie is survived by her beloved husband, Steve Cope, and her children James (McKayla) Skeen and Curtis (Shelby) Cope. She was a devoted wife and mother, always putting her family's needs above her own. Debbie's love for her children was evident in everything she did.

She is also survived by her siblings, Cindy (Chuck) Nice and Mike Cox, and her cherished grandchildren, Haven, Bella, Curtis Jr and Madeline. Debbie's family meant the world to her, and she cherished the time she spent with them. Her love and support were unwavering, and she will be deeply missed by all.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, James Cox, her mother, Marjorie Cox, and her brother Curt Cox. While her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, her memory will forever be cherished.

A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Debbie's life and legacy.

Debbie Jo Cope will be remembered for her kind heart, her generosity, her sense of humor, and her deep love for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul rest in piece.
