Charlotte Ruth Borden, 79, passed away Monday at her daughter's home in Villa Rica, Georgia.

Mrs. Borden was a member of the Nazarene Church in Crawfordsville.  She liked to take bus trips with friends and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Born Nov. 1, 1943 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Charles Ezra Brown and Norma Jean Brown.  She attended school at New Ross.  She married Carroll Borden June 26, 1960 and he passed away April 10, 1998.

Surviving family includes: son, Dewayne Borden (Marsha); daughter, Tammie Howard (Brian); six grandchildren, Jennifer, Stefanie, Brandon, Nathaniel, Kreigh, and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Liam, Addie Ruth and Alena; three sisters, Jan Triplett, Sharon Sellars, Carol Ann Truax; two brothers, Donnie Brown and Stanley Brown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers, Russell Brown, Larry Brown, Bobby Brown and three sisters, Patty Edwards, Debbie Wright and Barbara Jean Brown.

Visitation will be from 10 AM to Noon Saturday at Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville.  Services will begin at Noon, with Jim Howard officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
