Bonnie Moffitt of Waynetown passed away Thursday at IU Arnett in Lafayette.  She was 81.

Born Dec. 16, 1939 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Clarence English and Reba E. English Henry.  She worked at several area factories, retiring from Hi-Tek.  She married Stephen Moffitt.  He survives.

Surviving family includes: husband, Steve Moffitt; two sons, Jerry Ward, Terry Ward; four grandchildren, Candy Chamness, Toby Ward, Tristan Ward, Echo Bateman; eleven great- grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; brother, John English; sister, Mary Brandenburg.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Chamness, grandson, Bobby Chamness, Jr and great-grandson, Skyler Spore.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 PM Monday at Burkhart Funeral Home with a short service at 6 PM.  She will be laid to rest at Wesleyan Cemetery, near Waynetown, at a later date.
