Bessie Mae Bannister Manion, 87, of Waynetown passed away Monday at 7 AM in her home.

She was born July 13, 1933 at Crawfordsville to Elsie S. and Charles E. Bannister.  Ms. Manion retired from R.R. Donnelley & Sons after 37 years on August 1, 1995.  She began her career May 1, 1958 as a bindery hand worker.  In retirement he enjoyed spending more time with family, as well as drawing, painting, going to auctions and garage sales.

Surviving family includes: daughter, Jennifer M. Swaney of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; son, Tony W. Manion and partner Nikki of Waynetown; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Elizabeth Manion, brother, Leroy Bannister, son, Gerald Manion, daughter, Beverly J. Brock and a great-grandchild, James "Jimmy" Bailey.

She will be buried at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Graveside service for family and close friends will be on Friday, July 31 ^st at 1 PM with Paul Morrison officiating.
