Yvette Johnson 64 of Crawfordsville Indiana gained her wings on January 30, 2021. An amazing woman who treasured family above all else. Yvette adored spending time with her family and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. She loved watching westerns and played a winning game of Pac-Man and she loved her dog, Sug!

Yvette also held an Associates Degree in Human Resources from Ivy Tech of Indianapolis.

She is survived by her children Kesha Rouse, Kimberly Thornton and Napoleon Johnson ,her daughter Kelly Thornton and son
Wesley Thornton preceded her in death.

Her brothers Raymond F Rouse and Donald Rouse also survive. Yvette also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her parents Mary F Polk and Raymond L Rouse,proceeded her in death.

Yvette's family asks that you continue to hold her family in your prayers as we seek peace and understanding as we continue to heal from the loss of Yvette.

The family will gather on Thursday at Burkhart Funeral Home and she, along with her son, Wesley Thornton, will be laid to rest at Youngs Chapel Cemetery that afternoon.
