Wesley Prather of rural Crawfordsville passed away Saturday in his home at the age of 68.

Mr. Prather was a mechanic that really liked cars.  He also enjoyed fishing and following the news.  He loved the sand dunes and dune buggies when he lived in Oregon.  Most of all, he loved his family.

Born July 4, 1956 in Lafayette, he was the son of Marvin Lee Prather and Juanita Windrow Prather.  He married Sharon Lyman and she was the love of his life for 44 years.

Surviving family includes: wife, Sharon Prather; daughter, Carrie Prather (Jonny); son, Marvin "Jay" Prather; three grandchildren, Kyle Prather, Emmah Prather, Korra Limeberry; two brothers, Byron "Danny" Prather  (Ronda) and Pat Prather.

A celebration of the life of Wesley Prather will be held by his family.  Cremation arrangements were made through Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville.
