Tommie Clayton Hall passed away Sunday morning in his home at the age of 73.

Tommie was a forklift inspector at Crown in Greencastle, retiring from there after 20 years.  More recently, he worked at the Wal-Mart Optical Lab in Crawfordsville.  His memberships included the American Legion Post 72 and the Crawfordsville Eagles.  He liked watching football and golf.  He enjoyed going to the casinos, playing games and cards, especially euchre.  Most of all, he loved socializing with his family and friends.

Born Dec. 26, 1951 in Crawfordsville, he was the son of Fred Hall and Rosetta Hall.  He attended Crawfordsville schools.  He served his country in the U.S. Marines.  He married Lori Stephenson on Feb. 24, 2012.  She survives.

Surviving family includes: wife, Lori Hall of Crawfordsville; four step-children, Amanda Fry, Alisha Hayes (Mark), Cody Fry and Skyler Hoffman; sister, Jacquie White (Danny); five step-grandchildren, Bailey, Arianna, Quinten, Jaxson and Addi; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; sisters-in-law, Bobbi, Beckie, Sally, and Jackie; brothers-in-law, Dick and Terry.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Hall, mother and step-father, Rosetta and Stephen Kinkead, both sets of grandparents, sister, Sheila Hall Moss, brother, Jeffrey A. Hall and infant brother, Dallas E. Hall.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Oct. 11th at the Crawfordsville Eagles from Noon to 2 PM. A service will start at 2 PM with military rites and rites by the Eagles Ritual Team.  Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.
