Timothy Neal Stabler, more affectionately known as Tim passed away, at the age of 70, on July 4, 2026 at Hickory Creek of Crawfordsville.

Born in Indianapolis on November 20, 1955 to John Paul and Wilma Louise Bunch Stabler. He was a graduate of Southmont High School and worked at Shop-Rite, Montgomery Ward and 28 years at Kroger. Tim was an avid sports fan, loving the St. Louis Cardinals, Notre Dame football, IU basketball and Indianapolis Colts. He especially loved time in the outdoors at Turkey Run and Shades State parks. Tim loved and cherished his family, and would always talk with pride about his niece and nephews. He was always grateful to the tremendous caregiver and advocate that his sister-in-law was for him.

Surviving family includes: sister-in-law, Rita Stabler; niece, Cindy Alward(Randy); nephew, Eric Stabler(Freida); one great niece; and two great-nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerry, Michael and Steven Stabler; and nephew, Joseph Patrick Stabler.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 6 PM to 7:30 PM with services starting at 7:30 at Burkhart Funeral Home. To honor Tim's love of sports, please wear your favorite team's attire.
