Stephen Allen Wade, 67, passed away Monday morning at Sugar Creek Rehabilitation in Greenfield.

Born Jan. 16, 1955 he was the son of Charles H. Wade and Nyoda L. Brown Wade.  He attended Crawfordsville schools.

Surviving family includes: brother, David Joe (Kathy) Wade of Pepperell, Massachusetts; two sisters, Janet Sue Lyon of New Richmond and Myrna (Sam) Thompson of Crawfordsville; sister-in-law, Paula Wade of Crawfordsville; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law, Stanley Lyon, sister, Connie Wade Cooper and two brothers, Charles L. Wade and Michael D. Wade.

Visitation will be from 2 to 3 PM Thursday at Burkhart Funeral Home.  Services will begin at 3 PM, led by Pastor Darla Goodrich.  After the service, he will be laid to rest next to his parents at Oak Hill Cemetery South.
