Silas Ronk, 90, of Crawfordsville, IN died February 21, 2024 was born on January 13, 1934, in Roachdale.  He was the son of Mark and Mary Ronk of Roachdale, IN.  He was married to Delores (LaFoe) Ronk on October 6, 1961.

He graduated from Roachdale High School in 1952.

He worked for Steel Industries/IMPEX and then Lithonia/Hi-Tek until retirement.  He also farmed his parents land in Roachdale, IN until the passing of his mom in 1978 and his land in Montgomery County.  He loved to hunt and fish in his spare time.

He is preceded in death by his wife Delores (LaFoe) Ronk, son Allen L Ronk of Long Beach, CA; brother, Ernest Ronk of New Jersey; sisters, Martha Cronkhite of Crawfordsville, and Lucille Ronk of Crawfordsville.

He is survived by daughter Joanna (Jeff) Magginnis of Westfield, IN and brother Lester Ronk of Roachdale, IN.  Also, his grandchildren Rachael Magginnis, Eric Magginnis and Ian Magginnis of Westfield, IN.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 PM Saturday, March 2nd at Burkhart Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery on state road 47 South.
