Roxie E. Lowe of Crawfordsville passed away on Tuesday afternoon at Wellbrooke.  She was 71.

Born Dec. 14, 1948 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Benjamin Cornell and Clara Wilbur Cornell.  She attended school at Waveland.  She married Richard Lee Lowe.  He preceded her in death Feb. 2, 2012.

Surviving family includes: eight children, William Lowe, Sabrina (Rob) Brown, Melissa Lowe, Richard Lowe, Leilani (Chad) Harwood, Danetta (Robert) Thornburg, Brianne Lowe, Chandra Lowe; sixteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four brothers, John Cornell, Robert Cornell, Jeff Cornell, Tom Cornell; one sister, Celia Scott.

Visitation will be from 1 PM to 2:30 on Sunday, Dec. 29 ^th at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash.  Services will begin at 2:30, after which she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.
