Roxanne Spurlock

July 28, 1956-March 15, 2023

Roxanne Spurlock of Crawfordsville passed away peacefully, entering the arms of the Lord, Wednesday morning at Franciscan Health at the age of 66.

Roxanne grew up to love animals and people. She had a big heart for all living things. Her favorite titles were Meemaw and mom. She liked hanging out and taking care of her family and friends whenever possible. She has friends from all around the country from her travels throughout her life. She worked at various places over the years but enjoyed her time in Crawfordsville working at County Market, Neon Novelty, and the north side truck stop.

Born July 28, 1956 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Donald Raymond Dolph and Carolyn Jane Armantrout Dolph.  She attended Crawfordsville schools and later attended the Fort Lewis School of Nursing in Colorado.

Surviving family includes: three sons, Cody Spurlock, who is active duty with the Navy, twin boys, Jason Spurlock and Jordan Spurlock; daughter, Heather Spurlock; two grandsons, Leo Spurlock and Kaiden James Tucker; two sisters, Laura Dolph and Becky Dolph Chambers; brother, Aaron Dolph.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandma, Martha Wandalene Davis Armantrout, her aunt, Barbara Armantrout, her uncles, Wayne and Fred Armantrout, her two brothers, Mike and Mark Dolph and the father of her children, Michael Spurlock.

A celebration of the life of Roxanne Spurlock will be held in the coming months. Details will be announced as they become available.  Cremation arrangements were made through Burkhart Funeral Home.
