Robert Marcus LaBreche was born December 6, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan to Janet (Berford) and Jack LaBreche. He was the second of their 6 sons. He died on September 19, 2026, in Crawfordsville, IN near the home of his daughter.

Surviving are his 4 children; Lisa (Juan) Cruz of Crawfordsville, Indiana; Lia Back of Hazard, Kentucky; Lois (Mark) Strausbaugh of Greenfield, Indiana; and Stephen (Hee Sook) LaBreche of Ocala, Florida; his grandchildren, Eric, Matthew, Trevor, Ann, Leah, Ryan, and 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Peter and Andrew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Janet LaBreche; his wife, Camile Marie Conte LaBreche, and his brothers Jacques, David, and Jonathon.

Robert was a graduate of General Motors Institute, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Briercrest Bible Institute, and Dallas Theological Seminary. He was an acoustical engineer and a very gifted teacher. His teaching career spanned three decades; he taught for schools and homeschool classes, tutored students, and taught in the churches he attended. His passion was teaching biblical studies and apologetics. Robert was known for his patience and ability to help students comprehend difficult subjects. He loved his family, the outdoors, his church, and the time he shared with his precious friend Karen Long.

Robert lived his life in devotion to his Savior, Jesus Christ and we have no doubt that he is now in Heaven with Him. To God be the glory.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Prairie Baptist Church,14790 E 206th St, Noblesville, IN 46060 from 10 AM until the service time at 11 AM. Burial will follow at the Prairie Baptist Cemetery.
