Robert W. Kell

Robert W. "Bob" Kell of rural Crawfordsville passed away unexpectedly at home Friday. He was 78.

Bob was a simple man who loved farming. He farmed all his life. He also operated a greenhouse and enjoyed gardening.

Born May 10, 1944 in Williamsport, he was the son of Charles Kell and Ruth Johnson Kell. He graduated from Crawfordsville High School and was active in FFA.

Surviving family includes: two sisters, Pat Peacock of Crawfordsville, and Shirley Rose Roswog of Walton; twelve nieces and nephews, along with several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Kell, Jr.

Visitation will be from Noon to 1 PM Tuesday, May 9 at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Avenue, Crawfordsville. Services will begin at 1 PM. After the service, he will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Attica.
