Randall Edward Bell

July 1, 1963 to February 21, 2026

Randall Bell passed away at home on February 21, 2026, he was 62.

Born in Carthage, Illinois to Carl and Patsy Lowe Bell. After receiving his GED, he became certified as an EMT. He worked many years as a paramedic and at Caregivers Inc here in Crawfordsville. On April 1, 1989 he married Angela Plotner, she survives.

Randall loved trains, from an early childhood he loved collecting and photographing trains. He also enjoyed traveling, especially to Civil War sites and watching the Tour De France. Randall was a history buff reading and learning about tanks.

His surviving family includes: wife, Angela Bell; son, Mathew (Karrie Jo) Koester; daughters, Karrie Hole, Cheyenne (Christopher) Pettice, Shelby (Keith) Porter, Jennifer (Clyde) Kiger; grandchildren, Jocelyn (Zack), Julisa, Grace, Hunter, Wyatt, Emberly, Oliver, Finley, Ruth, and Henry; and great-grandchild, Harrison; siblings, F. Alan Bell and Mary (George) Newbanks; mother and father -in-law, Joyce and William Martin; and several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Randell is preceded in death by, granddaughter, Madyson and his parents.

Memorial visitation for Randall will be on Monday March 2, from 3 PM until the time of the service at 5 PM at the Burkhart Funeral Home.
