Philip Martin of Veedersburg passed away Sunday morning at Roudebush VA Medical Center at the age of 81.

Mr. Martin attended several churches in the area and was a Godly man.  He enjoyed horses, motorcycles, antiquing, attending auctions and riding around in his golf cart with his dog, Sweetie.  He worked as a supervisor at Fleetwood.  He served in the Army and National Guard, being headquartered out of Fort Knox, Kenutcky

Born Nov. 12, 1941 in Summer Shade, Kentucky, he was the son of Elum Martin and Lora E. Wells Martin.

Surviving family includes: two daughters, Lorinda Walters and Lori Reed; son, Louis Martin; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild located locally.

Funeral services will be at Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville on Wednesday, June 21st at 3 PM with a visitation starting at 2 PM.  Burial was held at Lower Mound Cemetery, near Covington.
