Patrick Madden of rural Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at I.U. Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  He was 74.

Born November 12, 1945 at Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of the late Frances and Margaret (Orth) Madden.  He attended school in Ohio and was retired from the Indiana Department of Transportation at Lizton.

He was a "jack of all trades", enjoying NASCAR, tinkering in the garage, yard work, working with his hands, wood working and especially enjoyed being with his grand kids.

On April 6, 2005 he married Jessica Baker. She survives.

Also surviving are his children Charlotte (Randy) Poole of Crawfordsville, Tim (Lisa) Madden of Florida, Tamara Madden of North Carolina, Bill (Brenda) Madden of Crawfordsville, Amanda (Jeremy) Johnson of Bloomingdale, Heather Madden of Greencastle; step-daughter Elizabeth Gatlin of Crawfordsville; brother Mike Madden, Sr. of Tennessee; and several grandchildren, great –grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial visitation for Patrick will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, August 1 ^st at Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville.
