Patricia I. Hernandez, 70, of Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday evening at home.

Patricia liked to crochet, do crossword puzzles and collect knick-knacks.  She attended Fremont St. Baptist Church.  She worked as a sorter for the Salvation Army.

Born May 12, 1949 in Chicago, she was the daughter of Thomas Fiedor, Jr. and Shirley I. Bastyr Fiedor.  She attended school in Chicago.

Surviving family includes: two daughters, Gigi Sowin of Crawfordsville and Mirian Hernandez of Chicago; four grandchildren, Gigi Bocian, Nicole Gomez-Sosa, Jacqueline Bennici, Andrea Gomez; four great-grandchildren, Andrew, Audrey, Samantha and Vivian.

Visitation will be from 2 to 3 PM Monday, Aug. 19th at Fremont Street Baptist Church, with services starting at 3 PM, led by Pastor Dan Aldrich.  Burial will take place on Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery in Northlake, Illinois.  Burkhart Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
