Nina May (Piersall) Fenton of Crawfordsville, formerly of Robinson, Illinois, passed away Saturday morning at the Ben Hur Home.  She was 92.

Mrs. Fenton retired from TDS in Roachdale.  She liked to cook and crochet.  In earlier days, she and her husband liked to travel and go camping and were members of the Wells Fargo Camping Club.  She was also a member of the Mace United Methodist Church.

Born May 29, 1927 in Pierson Station, Illinois, she was the daughter of Paul Piersall and Ruth Willard Piersall.  She attended school at Hutsonville.  She married William H. Fenton, Jr. on Oct. 31, 1953 in Robinson, Illinois.  He passed away March 6, 2014.

Surviving family includes: three sons, Phillip Fenton (Janis), Ronald Fenton, Donald Fenton (Nickol); a daughter, Diana Wiles (Mike); brother, George Piersall; two sisters, Beverly Bomer, Neva Mendenhall; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren with one more on the way.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Les Fenton, great-granddaughter, Olivia, five brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 2 PM Wednesday, Sept. 18 at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Ave.  Services will begin at 2 PM, led by her nephew, Pastor Ray Piersall.  Burial will follow at Mace Cemetery.
