Nancy Diane Garrett, 65, of Crawfordsville, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday morning, October 23, 2026.

Nancy was a fiercely independent woman and a wonderful cook who above all, cared for her family and loved ones. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on April 4, 1961, she grew up attending schools across Florida and Pennsylvania. On August 3, 1985, she married the love of her life, Jason Lee Garrett, resulting in a wonderful family of six. Nancy’s warmth extended far beyond her home. She dedicated time to nurturing children at the Pleasant View Baptist Church daycare. Prior to that, she spent many dedicated years in restaurant work and restaurant management, including her time at Waffle House in Brownsburg and Hardee’s here in Crawfordsville. Above all, her true life's work was fiercely loving, supporting, and caring for her family and making sure everyone was happy.

Surviving family include her husband Jason Garrett and her four sons Phillip Garrett (Cortney), Brandon Garrett (Lauren), Justin Garrett (Courtney), Patrick Garrett (Kylie), and grandchildren Tyler, Pyper, Ethan, Clover, Myca, Abigail, Elliott, Everett, Aryn, Emerson, and Ewan. Also, her two brothers Mike and Bob Underwood as well as her mother Mary Driscoll.

Nancy was welcomed into peace by her father, Chuck Boden, who preceded her in death.
