Obituary

Myra Lee Jessie (Roche) passed away peacefully on Monday, July 24th surrounded by family and loved ones.

Myra was born March 15, 1950 to Daniel Joseph and Betty Lucille (Thompson) Roche. She graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1968. She was a lifelong member of St. Bernard's church where she attended school through the 8th grade. She spent many years volunteering at the church overseeing the funeral dinners, where she leaves behind many friends (the Clique).

She was preceded in death by both parents, brother Daniel Michael "Mike" Roche and sister Deanna Kay Matlock. She is survived by sisters Julie (Donald) Hoffa, Kathleen (Jeff) Keesee, Amy (Marty) Claycomb and Mary Haines, and brothers Dennis (Carmelita) Roche and Martin Joseph "Joe" (Elizabeth) Roche, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and is survived by sons Scott (Jennifer) Hesler, Crawfordsville and Donnie Jessie, Portland, OR; daughter April Jessie (John Wiley), Indianapolis; grandchildren Marie Hesler, Eleanor Hesler, Josephine Hesler, and Kaitlynn Hall; and great-grandchildren Ryleigh and Hunter Hall.

She loved being involved in her children and grandchildren's lives. Any memorial contributions can be made to the Sugar Creek Swim Club of Crawfordsville (www.scscswim.org), where she loved to volunteer and watch her grandchildren swim.

Visitation will be held at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Crawfordsville on Thursday, August 3rd from 9-11am with Mass following at 11am. Graveside services will follow Mass at Calvary Cemetery.
