Matthew Ivan Watson of Crawfordsville passed away Monday morning.  He was 22.

Matt liked country music, rodeos, cars, big trucks, hats, boots, big belt buckles, hanging out with friends and loved his family.  He bowled in several youth leagues through high school.  He worked at FTIC in Jamestown as a welder.

Born Oct. 29, 1997 at Home Hospital in Lafayette, he was the son of Brendon Watson and Charna Eppert Watson.  He graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 2016.

Surviving family includes: mother, Charna Eppert Watson; father, Brendon Watson; brother, Jesse Watson; maternal grandparents, Ivan and Barbara Eppert; paternal grandparents, Marion and Ann Watson; girlfriend, Mary Wood; three aunts, three uncles and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Janice Eppert and cousin, Chelsea Mann.

Memorial service for Matthew Watson will be at 6 PM Saturday at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Avenue.  Visitation will be from 4 to 6 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
