Matthew Allen Cox of Vera Beach, Florida passed away May 23, 2025 after a brief illness.

He was born to Merlin D. Cox, who survives and Teresa (Rodgers) Krug (deceased).

Matthew attended the Crawfordsville School Corp before moving to Florida. He had been a long-haul truck driver for several years.

Matthew is survived by his wife, Jamie; daughter, Alexis; son, Zander; father, Merlin (Beth) Cox; stepbrother, Hank (Angela) Swazay and Jason Swazay.

Deceased family includes; paternal grandparents, Jasper and June Cox; maternal grandparents, Shorty and Joann Rodgers; mother, Teresa Krug; and three cousins, Michelle Wilson, David Feltner and Ariel Pierson.

Matthew will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery North in Crawfordsville at a later date.
