Mary Ann Lowery of Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday morning at Franciscan East in Lafayette.  She was 70.

Born July 17, 1950 in Williamsport, Indiana, she was the daughter of Louis Lowery Sr. and Arlene Grimes Lowery.  She attended Waynetown schools.  She worked at the Neighborhood Cleaners for many years, prior to which she worked at the New Richmond Bar and Grill as well as the Long Branch Saloon in Darlington.

Surviving family includes: daughter, Shelly Wilson (Johnny) of Crawfordsville; son, Rick Davis (Amy) of Crawfordsville; longtime companion, Leon Shaw; two brothers, Al Lowery, Louis Lowery, Jr.; sister, Ruth Lowery Osborne; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jim Lowery and granddaughter, Ivy Davis.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at the Moose Lodge, 402 Waynetown Road, on Saturday, July 17 ^th from 12 to 3 PM.  Cremation has been arranged through Burkhart Funeral Home and her family plans to inter her ashes next to her granddaughter, Ivy Davis, at Oak Hill Cemetery North, at a later date.
