Mary Elizabeth Cox of Crawfordsville passed away Monday afternoon at home.  She was 74.

Mary was a homemaker in Waynetown for several years and also delivered meals and worked in the kitchen at Williamsburg.

Born Sept. 4, 1944 in Crawfordsville she was the daughter of Raymond William Switzer and Vina June Switzer.  She attended Crawfordsville schools.  She married Ronald Eugene Cox on Dec. 12, 1965.  He passed away Jan. 12, 1997.

Surviving family includes: two daughters, Sarah Rosanne Cox and Stephanie Lynn Cox; one brother, Frank Switzer; one sister, Georgia Redden; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ed Switzer and sister, Elsie Jernagan.

Services will be 2 PM Thursday at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Avenue, Crawfordsville, with visitation from 1 to 2.  Burial will follow at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
