Mrs. Marion L. Buck 80, Crawfordsville, passed away on September 16, 2019 at Franciscan Health, Lafayette, Indiana. Marion was born on July 6, 1939 at Griffin Hospital, Derby, CT to Arthur E. and Lillian F. (Szczesnick) Grimmer. She married Oakel E. (Gene) Buck on October 10, 1958 in Elkton, MD.

Mrs. Buck retired from RR Donnelley after 33 years of service. Prior to that, she had worked at Culver Hospital, Montgomery Ward, and Elston Bank, where she held several office positions. She was a 1957 graduate of Derby High School, Derby, CT.  She was a member of the Mt Zion United Methodist Church, the Crawfordsville American Legion Auxiliary, the Donnelly Club, and a past member of the Crawfordsville Business and Professional Women (BPW).

Mrs. Buck is survived by her sons, Carl (Marcia) of Boyd Tavern, VA, and Kenneth of Phoenix, AZ, her grandsons, Jeffrey of Richmond, VA and Christopher of Boyd Tavern, VA, as well as her mother Lillian Grimmer, and her sister Ruth Lofthouse of Shelton, CT. She was preceded in death by her husband Oakel E. Buck and her father.

Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11:30 AM the Burkhart Funeral Home with Pastor Marvin Cheek officiating. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10 AM to 11:30.
