M. Sue Abston

March 25, 1943 to November 22, 2024

Sue Abston, of Crawfordsville passed away on November 22, 2024 at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville. She was 81.

Born in Lebanon, Indiana to Darol and Dorothy Maddox Long on March 25, 1943. Sue graduated from Granville Wells School in Jamestown, Indiana in 1961 before going to Cosmetology school in 1962. On December 14, 1969 Sue married Clyde Arthur Abston in Advance, Indiana.

Surviving family includes: sons, Duane (Cathie) Abston, Matthew (Colleen) Abston, and John (Julie) Abston; daughter Marcy (Aaron) Conkright; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren; one brother, Al.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents and a brother, Bus.

Cremation was chosen for Sue Abston. A celebration of life will be held at Marcy's home, Saturday, November 30th from 2pm to 4pm (open house) at 272 North Center Lane, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
